COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan Tuesday announced that an annual roadshow of the Indian film industry will be held in Sri Lanka.
Bollywood superstars will converge in Colombo June 3-5 for the International Indian Film Academy or IIFA.
Bachchan said that the festival is held in different countries each year to introduce Indian cinema to the world and integrate communities.
The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) is an award ceremony rather an effort to promote Indian Cinema popular as bollywood on a worldwide scale, thus reaching out to millions of its fans.
